Tonsillitis... and a paycheck!

So, yeah, I've got tonsillitis... which isn't really that fun right now. :( My throat's been hurting for about 2 weeks off and on, but finally it got really really bad, my tonsils are so swollen that at night I can barely breathe or swallow, and my lymph nodes are clearly visible under my neck. I went to the doctor today and got on some antibiotics. So it looks like NyQuil and some ice cream may be in my future.

On the upside for today, I am offically employed as an occupational therapist (pending my license) at River Valley Therapy and Sports Medicine!!! I went to Russellville today and signed all the millions of pieces of paper to make that happen. I'm now the proud recepient of health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance and a 401K, as well as a nice little sign-on bonus (which will soon = a new car!). Here's me with my check:



So what am I going to do now? Well, finish my last two weeks of clinicals (post-tonsillitis of course) and then, I'm going to Disney World!
