We got the car packed late last night, fell into bed for a few hours of sleep, and planned to leave around 4 a.m. However, sweet Princess had the hiccups and was awake from 12-2 a.m. Tyler and I decided that leaving on that little sleep was a terrible idea, so we slept a little longer and ended up leaving closer to 5:30 a.m.
We've had these Disney cards that my mom found for us at the Hallmark store. There were 100, so we have been counting down for the past hundred days! The last one, fittingly, says "The best part of life's journey is who you get to share it with."
We have been reading a lot of books and watching a lot of movies. I'm not really sure I would want to do this without two DVD players! If Mommy sits in the back between car seats and feeds/reads/entertains the little monkeys then everyone is pretty happy.
We stopped for lunch in Hattiesburg, MS at Five Guys. Paisley figured out how to dip her fries in ketchup and it was cracking me up!
Some of our favorite things in the car are stickers - they can literally mean hours of fun for this little girl! She puts them on one leg and then on the other. It's been cracking me up!

Jackson, on the other hand, loves some word searches. I found these at the dollar store. They're short phonics words and he loves them!
He told me I was his helper. 😂
We have about two more hours before we stop for the night in Tallahassee. I've seriously been impressed with both kids on this trip. Neither has had any major meltdowns or long crying fits (something we definitely struggled with when Jackson was younger).
Tomorrow we will only have four more hours! Hoping to be at the Yacht Club by lunch and spend some time at Stormalong Bay!
