All Roads Lead to Disney - Day 5

Today was kind of a whirlwind! Paisley has been battling some serious diaper rash and that has slowed us down significantly :( we started off going over to the Magic Kingdom because we had a few FastPasses there. I realized as I started writing this that I didn't take many pictures today!

This was the first day we actually used FastPasses to accomplish anything. I've been fairly unhappy with the entire FastPass+ system. It doesn't work well if you need to change parks or times in the middle of the day, or if you put your FastPass times close together like we did, and I hate that it artificially inflates the wait times for standby. It messes everything up, and I even saw them fast passing our old favorite viewing spot for Illuminations! That's ridiculous. But anyway.... _

To start off, Jackson and I went to Enchanted Tales with Belle. If you've ever met me, you probably know that Belle is my very favorite princess and I haven't gotten to explore the new Fantasyland Beauty and the Beast stuff, so I was pretty excited!
It is a sweet little concept, but ultimately I think that I was the only one enjoying myself. Jackson said it was a little too "princess-y" and Paisley was napping with Tyler while we did this.

We joined back up for bathroom break and a little shopping. We also saw the Main Street Philharmonics and listened to them play some songs from Dumbo.

Next up, we had FastPasses for the new Little Mermaid ride. This was under construction the last time we came, so it's new for all of us. I didn't get any pictures there. It stopped three times during our ride :( Paisley loved it but Jackson was only so-so about it.

We had promised Jackson a Mickey ice cream bar after Little Mermaid so we had to stop and get us some!
My son is incapable of opening his eyes when it's sunny unless he has on sunglasses LOL
We stopped off in the Beauty and the Beast gift shops and then headed for our last FastPass of the day at Peter Pan. Jackson has recently been into Peter Pan, and he actually really loved this ride. Again, I forgot to take pictures because I was wrangling little princess.

After Peter Pan we decided that it was time to head back to the Yacht Club for a little snack/lunch and my parents had landed at the airport, too. On our way out of the MK, we stopped and watched the mid-day dance party.

Then back to the resort to cool off, eat, and let Paisley run around. My parents got here, and they took Jackson to the arcade and walking around the pool area while Paisley, Tyler, and I napped and got ready for our dinner reservation at 5.

We headed over to the Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe. It was a lot of fun and I'm pretty sure my dad has some pictures, but I was slacking again! Sorry!

After we came back to the resort, Mom and Dad took Paisley while Tyler and I took Jackson to Epcot to ride Test Track and Spaceship Earth, which he had been wanting to ride. Test Track is a little more adventurous for him, as he is right at the height requirement. He absolutely loved it though!

After we created our car and test drove it, we ran to the front of the park for Spaceship Earth. I was thinking that he would probably find it boring, but truthfully he asked questions and definitely loved creating his "future" at the end!
Apparently in the future I have a garden and Jackson wears turtlenecks... 😂😂😂

Epcot at dusk is probably my very favorite place to be.

We ran back and got Paisley, then we all crashed. Whew!
