All Roads Lead to Disney - Day 7

It's our last day here! It's always sad to see a Disney trip come to an end. I am so grateful that my husband likes Disney almost as much as I do and will therefore put up with my Disney crazy.

We got up and went to the Magic Kingdom with my family.
Jackson loved talking to the "Captain" each day. This captain wasn't the normal one that he had lengthy conversations with, however.
Bus rides are always interesting. We ran into another family from Arkansas proudly representing the Hogs at Disney on this particular bus ride. Pookie still wasn't feeling the best, but Jackson was ready for some fun!
We went straight to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! Jackson has never ridden roller coasters before, and we weren't sure how he would like them. After he loved Test Track, we decided to let him try some of the others. He is right at the height requirement. He absolutely loved Thunder Mountain! Mom & Dad had Paisley while we did these two rides with FastPass back to back.

Then we headed onto Splash Mountain. I didn't get any pictures on this one, but Jackson was all into it until he realized he was going to get wet. His ultimate take away: "that was a awesome but it was bad." Oh, that child!

We went to get Paisley from my parents at Pirates of the Carribean. We all rode Pirates together (their second time in a row). They headed off to some FastPasses they had, and we stopped for lunch - burgers and fries. Jackson, Paisley and I waited while Tyler got us all food - and played with my phone.
Pookie was getting a little cranky and hot.

After lunch, we had a FastPass at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. We did that, and rode the Peoplemover again because Jackson asked for one more ride on it. Then we decided to head back toward Main Street as Paisley was getting hot and everyone needed a little rest.

On our way out, though, we stopped at the Chapeau for Mickey ears!
As you can tell, little Miss was not into it at this point. She did play with them a little bit but mostly wanted to crumple them up. Still a sweet memory!

We decided that our traditional souvenirs for the kids will be Mickey ears and a Mickey and Minnie plush doll each time. We found these precious black & white Mickey and Minnie this time and we couldn't resist!
We had a great housekeeper several of the days, and she would make awesome towel animals and leave Jackson notes!

After we got back from the Magic Kingdom, we settled in for naps. I headed to the pool to take a nap there while Tyler stayed with the kids. However, as soon as I got out there, this blew up:

It ended up storming the rest of the evening. Our plan had been to go eat pizza on the Boardwalk again. My dad and Grayson took an umbrella and walked over the to pizza window on the Boardwalk and we had a pizza party in my parents' room. We then turned in early in preparation of our 16-hour drive home tomorrow.

We had a great trip and while I'm never ready to say good bye to Disney, I am ready for my babies to feel better and everyone get home safely :)
